Redbook Magazine US App Reviews

No current subscriber option

Im disappointed to see that there is no benefits for current print subscribers through this app. I would like to have the ability to download a copy of my print version or even swap my print copy for a copy in this app. I might actually get around to reading all the articles before the next months magazine comes out!

Love Redbook (digital is great!)

Beauty tips, fashion, health & fitness all bang on! Love this magazine for a bit of me-time.

I will not pay extra for digital

customer service should offer it free. Also these ads are worthless and many clothing ads are not susantiable for the envirnoment or for the people contracted to make them.

Charge for use

I already subscribe to the magazine, why would I pay extra to download this? And they wont switch your subscription to emag. Have to pay separate prices

Ridiculous

Its almost 2013 and subscribers to the hard copy magazine have to pay more to access the same subscription on an app!! Ridiculous !

$3.99 an issue?!

The app itself is free but you have to pay $3.99 for each issue. There is no free content whatsoever.

Deleting app

Wrong to charge print subscribers to get on ipad

Print subscribers, dont bother!

How disappointing that as a print subscriber you have to pay for the iPad edition. Nowadays, most magazines I subscribe to give the digital version free, with the print subscription. I can delete this app!

No

Other magazines allow print subscribers to see digital content for free. Not this one???? Oh, well, I wont be subscribing to either then. I will choose other magazines. ;(

Lame!

Print subscribers should get this for free, not have to pay extra for it.

Disappointment

I am a print subscriber and will not be paying to download issues on my iPad. Other mags offer free digital with proof of print. Hearst Publishing, live in the now.

Total cheat

Im with the other print subscribers that are angry that we are expected to pay for an ipad version too!! Well guess what Redbook--dont bother sending a renewal request when my subscription runs out.

delete

seriously I have to pay for e version too, bye bye

rip-off

This is completely & utterly ridiculous! Ive subscribed to Redbook for years & now that I have an option to receive it digitally on my iPad instead of the waste of paper & postage costs, I have to pay for a subscription for my iPad? Why can it not just be transferred to a digital subscription? I would greatly appreciate a response to this. Thank you.

Im with everybody else

Sorry for whoever did the app -- Im sure it works great but to charge somebody for what they already have - ridiculous. I will not be renewing my Redbook subscription, either. I have a hard copy in my hands, and thought it would be nice to have it on my iPad mini so I can read it at Dr. appointment -- no way am I going to spend $3.99 to buy the issue again!

More $?

Ridiculous to charge print subscribers twice. Bye bye

What a joke

Thank you to all the publishers out there who provide free digital issues as part of your subscription! How disappointing that Redbook isnt one of those.

A slap in the face to print subscribers

I was so excited to go on vacation with all my magazines on my iPad instead of a huge stack of them. Wouldnt you know it that REDBOOK was the only one that wanted to charge me AGAIN as a print subscriber! Totally lame! I wont be renewing my print subscription either!

Not FAIR...wants money twice

I have subscription, but cant put on my iPad. WHY!!!!

Very disappointing!

I already have a Redbook subscription and expected to be able to read it on my ipad as well. I am deleting this app since I will not pay for the same item twice. Also, access to any information besides how to buy it again is not even available. Come on Redbook, take a lesson from other magazines! I would rate this "no stars".
